PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT COHORTS

This summer, we will host 4 cohorts designed to give student managers and graduate assistants an immersive experience in basketball. Our Professional Development Cohorts are intensive, multi-week programs each focused on a specific area of a career in basketball.

In the Director of Basketball Operations Cohort, college basketball DOBOs lead participants in exercises that mimic real-world scenarios. They will create mock official visit itineraries, basketball camps, and a mock road trip. Apply today!

Coming back in July is the Film and Analytics Cohort. We are partnering with Hudl to bring participants immersive instruction on their analytic sports technology. Participants will complete mock projects basketball giving them experience in all things SportsCode.

New this summer is our Graphics Cohort led by Russ Reid of Ole Miss. Participants will learn the ins and outs of creating graphics to build their portfolio and add value to their program.

The NBA Scouting Cohort will be led by scouts currently working for NBA teams. Sessions include work on defensive scouting reports, player fit evaluations, and NBA Draft scouting. This Cohort will launch in August.

Each Cohort will be capped between 25-75 participants. Applications will be open for at least 2 weeks and do not guarantee admission into our programming. Certain programs require technology that we will not provide (ex. Macs for Film/Analytics and NBA Scouting Cohorts). For any specific programming questions, don't hesitate to get in touch with Jake Cerota via email at Jakecerota@gtghoops.com.
