Megan Black is in her second year on full-time staff with the University of Washington Men’s Basketball Program as Head Coach Danny Sprinkle’s assistant.

She joins the Huskies after a stint with the University of Nebraska at Omaha’s Women’s Basketball program. Hired as director of basketball operations, she was given the opportunity to coach for the season. She also has held video associate and advance scouting roles with the Minnesota Lynx and Indiana Fever.

Megan earned her undergraduate and masters degrees from the University of Washington while working for the men’s basketball program as both a student manager and graduate assistant.

She joined Cerota’s and Hopp’s mission as a board member in June of 2020 where she has aided in the creation of the Manager Connection, hosting professional development cohorts, and operations of our organization. “It has been so exciting to see this community grow from a couple of like-minded individuals looking for a valuable way to fill their time over quarantine to an expanding network of current and former managers.”
